About Me

My name is Amanda Furmage and I’m finally a senior at Southeastern University, graduating in the Spring with a B.S. in Journalism/PR and minors in creative writing and english. I was born and raised in the small town of Conneaut, Ohio, which is about an hour east of Cleveland (Go Indians!). However, after graduation I will be moving to Orlando to pursue a career in writing, publication/web design, or copyediting. I still have no idea what I want to do, but I know I’ll be happy in any of those fields. My ultimate dream is to create a Christian sports magazine targeted toward children or teenagers. Sports and working with children are two things I am deeply passionate about and would love to integrate them into my future career. In this blog, you will be most likely reading my perspective on professional sports issues from around the nation, my sideline chatter. Enjoy!
